New Possibilities for Making Settlements with the Banks Belonging to the Danske Bank Group

From 1 January 2008, all Sampo Pank’s customers, who also hold an account with the other banks of the Danske Bank Group*, can make settlements within the Group free of charge.Group payment enables a company, which holds an account/accounts with different banks of the Danske Bank Group, to make international payments between its accounts free of charge, whereas the settlement date is the same banking day. In order to use the service it is necessary to submit to Sampo Pank the list of companies belonging to the same group.
For those customers who use the service ”Account management through SWIFT” or use the SWIFT-channel for receiving account statements and initiating payments, account statements will be forwarded free of charge from the 1st of January 2008. Furthermore, all group payments initiated via SWIFT will be free of charge.
