Deadlines for the Execution of Transactions During the Holidays

Due to the forthcoming holidays domestic and international settlement services are provided as follows on the 21st and the 31st of December:International payment orders will be accepted for execution on the same banking day, if the payment order reaches the Bank:
- On the 21st of December before 16:00, if an urgent and extra urgent payment order reaches the Bank before 14:00 and Sampo payment before 15:00.
- On the 31st of December before 14:00, if an urgent and extra urgent payment order reaches the Bank before 12:00 and Sampo payment before 13:00.
Depending on the type of international payment, the value date of the payment is as follows:
- extra urgent payment order and Sampo payment : 21.12.07 / 31.12.07
- urgent payment order: 27.12.07 / 2.01.08
- normal payment order and EU-payment: 28.12.07 / 3.01.08
Domestic payment orders will be accepted for execution and will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on the same banking day, if the payment order reaches the Bank before 17:00 on a banking day. The 24th, the 25th and the 26th of December and the 1st of January are public holidays and no domestic inter-bank payments are executed on these days. Payment orders which reach the Bank during public holidays will be forwarded to the beneficiary’s bank on the banking day immediately following the public holiday.
