Sampo Pank Has Raised EEK Time Deposit Interest Rates Considerably and EUR Time Deposit Interest Rates Moderately

Sampo Pank has changed time deposit interest rates from 30 November 2007. EEK and EUR time deposit interest rates rose and the interest rates of U.S. time deposits declined.
The annual interest rate of EEK time deposits rose from 4.55% to 5.60% and the annual interest rate of EUR time deposits rose from 4.0% to 4.15%. At the same time, the Bank lowered the annual interest rate of USD time deposits from 4.25% to 4.05%.
Sampo Pank regularly adjusts the interest rates of time deposits in accordance with general changes in the levels of interest rates. The objective of Sampo Pank is to maintain an attractive interest rate level of time deposits. The previous rise of the interest rates of EEK time deposits took place on the 21st of September 2007.
