For the payer
The easiest and most convenient way to settle monthly bill payments is through direct debit:
- No need to go to the bank office to pay bills
- No chance of forgetting paying bills
- Submitting bill payments is free
By signing the direct debit contract You give the beneficiary an order to submit the bill directly to Sampo Pank, while the copy of the bill goes to You. On a date set in the contract Sampo Pank will transfer the amount on the bill to the beneficiary – and the bill has been paid!
Signing the contract
- You can sign the direct debit contract at all Sampo Pank offices, through Sampo Internet Bank and Sampo Telephone Bank.
- In order to sign the contract, You must find the right reference number (usually on the bill, or You can contact the issuer of the bill).
- The person signing the direct debit contract does not have to be the person receiving the bill – a family member or a tenant can do it (e.g. a temporary user of the phone).
Terms of use
- You must see to there being enough finances on Your account on the date of payment, in order for the bills to be paid.
- The payment date You have set must lie within the payment period set by the beneficiary.
- You can also set a limit in the contract. If the amount of the bill exceeds the limit, the bank will – according to the terms agreed with the beneficiary – either cancel the payment order or make the transfer within the bounds set by the limit.
