Sampo Pank issues international debit card Visa Electron which allow You to use the money on Your current account:

• paying for goods and services in shops
• collecting cash from ATMs, and
• retrieving account information from ATMs.

Debit card is a convenient means of payment

• No need to carry cash
• Account statement provides an overview of Your transactions
• Travelling abroad there is no need for currency exchange

Debit card is safe

• Paying by chip card the transaction is confirmed by PIN-code.
• When Your card only holds the magnetic strip, or the sale terminal cannot identify the chip on the card, the transaction is confirmed by Your signature on the receipt. Without the signature the card payment is not valid. The clerk also has the right to ask for Your identification document.
• When retrieving cash from ATMs, Your debit card is protected by the PIN-code.
• Debit card has usage limits, both a daily and a weekly limit. Transactions which exceed the limits will not be accepted.
