Currency exchange
You can exchange all currencies quoted by Sampo Pank both for euro and for each other.
You can perform these actions at all Sampo Pank offices in Estonia, over Sampo Internet Bank or Sampo Telephone Bank.
Exchange rate
The currency is exchanged according to Sampo Pank daily rates. All exchanges on the client`s account are made automatically from 9am to 5pm on each business day. Bigger amounts (the minimum amount is displayed on the transaction order form in Sampo Internet Bank) are exchanged at a special rate, which depends on the exchange rate of the respective currency in the international money market at the moment when the transaction is executed.
We recommend for clients who often exchange currency to make a customer agreement on financial instruments. The agreement allows you to directly contact Sampo Pank dealers and make transactions over the phone.
In the case of Ukrainian hryvnas (UAH) and Belarus roubles (BYR) the exchanges may be limited, as the currencies are not freely exchanged.
Standing exchange order
Standing exchange order allows you to exchange automatically any currency that has been transferred to your current account.
- Standing exchange order can be submitted at all Sampo offices, over Sampo Internet Bank or Sampo Telephone Bank.
- Standing exchange order may be termless or set for a certain period. You can also stop the order temporarily (for a set period of time).
- The currency will be exchanged on the business day following its transfer.
