Start account
Start account can be opened for a business that is about to be founded.
Start account cannot be used to make payments or use Sampo Pank’s services. Only payments and transfers to the account are allowed.
Start account will be changed into a current account after a certified copy of the registration document reaches the bank.
Opening a start account
The following documents are necessary for opening a start account:
- founding documentation according to the type of entrepreneurship
- identification document of the legal representative
Acceptable founding documentation
The bank accepts the following documents on opening a start account:
Limited liability company or joint stock company
- notarially certified founding contract or decision
- only the founders have the right to open a start account
General partnership or limited partnership
- Partnership contract signed by all members (the contract does not have to be notarially certified)
- In the partnership contract the the representative persons are determined, who are thereby authorised to open the start account
Commercial association
- The charter signed by all participants of the founding meeting, and the minutes of the meeting, where the members of the board are assigned (the documents need not be notarially certified)
- The start account may be opened by a member of the board
Non-profit organisation
- The founding contract, signed by all founders; the members of the board are determined by the founding contract (the contract need not be notarially certified)
- The start account may be opened by a member of the board
Foundation
- Notarially certified founding decision or testament
- The start account may be opened by the founders
