Sampo New Europe Fund Was Assigned a Four Star Rating by Morningstar

In April the rating agency Morningstar assigned a four star rating to Sampo New Europe Fund. It means that Sampo New Europe Fund surpasses two-thirds of all similar funds in terms of risk-adjusted return.The average five-year return of Sampo New Europe Fund Sampo is 28.94 % per annum and the average three-year return is 35.73% per annum (source: Morningstar, as at 07.05.2007).
Sampo New Europe Fund primarily invests in Eastern and Central European equity markets. The Fund does not invest in Russia. As the diversification of the Fund is lower than generally - the number of different equity positions does not exceed 25 at a time, it enables the Fund to invest only in the shares of those companies, whose prospects are better than the average.
