U.S. Invest Issued Commercial Paper Worth EEK 75.5 Million through Sampo Pank

On Thursday, the 10th of May, AS U.S. Invest issued new 50-day commercial paper worth EEK 75.5 million through Sampo Pank, the redemption date of which is the 29th of June 2007. The paper was issued at par with 6.5% annual coupon interest. The amount received from the issue will be used for the financing of the business activities of the company.The offering was carried out via private placement and it was targeted at Estonian investors.
U.S. Invest is an investment company, which is wholly owned by Urmas Sõõrumaa. The largest companies, in which U.S. Invest has a stake are as follows: Falck Baltics (security business), ISS Haldus (real estate management) and Rotermann Grupp (real estate development). The company operates mainly in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.
